How Evolution Works
Most spirits in Roco Kingdom: World can evolve 1–2 times. After evolving:
- Base stats jump significantly
- Appearance changes
- New skills may unlock
- Some spirits' types shift
Evolution Types
Level evolution (most common)
Reach the threshold level — no extra requirements.
Item evolution
Use a specific item to trigger evolution. Items typically come from events or the shop.
Conditional evolution
Meet special conditions (friendship, day/night, location, etc.) before leveling up.
Evolution Tips
- Don't cancel evolutions. Stat gains are huge — there's no benefit to staying in pre-evolved form long-term.
- Before evolving, check the post-evolution skill list — some moves are pre-evolution only.
- Time tricky evolutions correctly so you don't miss exclusive moves.

Priority Evolutions
Evolve your main attacker first — the stat boost from evolution outpaces several levels of grinding.
- Starters (Miaomiao / Huohua / Shuilanlan) → evolve ASAP
- Highest-level team member → evolve next
